VECT-HORUS' development strategy involves partnering with (bio)pharmaceutical companies to develop innovative vectorized drug-candidates that address unmet medical needs in the CNS area. VECT-HORUS is open to a variety of partnership agreements, including co-development and out-licensing opportunities. Co-DevelopmentVECT-HORUS is leveraging its technological platform by entering into research and product development agreements with (bio)pharmaceutical companies to generate patentable NCEs of the drug-candidates of its partners: - new lead drugs under development at the preclinical stage with poor BBB permeability prognosis;
- drugs under development that failed at the beginning of clinical stage for lack of CNS bioavailability;
- marketed drugs already used and protected by patents that are close to expiration (life cycle management).
In these collaborations, VECT-HORUS offers its partners exclusive access to its technological platform and families of vectors to allow them to determine preclinical proof-of-principle in their own disease models for their own pharmaceutical agents of interest through non-exclusive licensing agreements.
