Co-founder of VECT-HORUS, Scientific counselor of VECT-HORUS (according to the "Article 25-2 de la Loi sur l'Innovation"). His laboratory housed the R&D of VECT-HORUS within the frame of collaboration contracts and transfer agreements signed with the CNRS and the Université de la Méditerranée. Work Experience: Director of Research in the CNRS, Group leader, Director of the NICN, UMR 6184 laboratory of the CNRS and Université de la Méditerranée in Marseilles since 2002. Specialised in neuroscience and in research on brain pathologies; published over 70 peer-reviewed articles in international scientific journals, a dozen book chapters and 4 patents. Alexandre TOKAY, IEP Paris, SFAF Member (Société Française des analystes Financiers). Co-founder of VECT-HORUS, CEO. Coordinates the financial policy for fund raising and the intellectual property policy of VECT-HORUS. Invests his business experience at the service of VECT-HORUS in order to contribute to its development strategy. Work experience: more than 20 years in the banking sector (Credit Lyonnais, Credit Agricole- CPR and Abn Amro), major international experience. Former Local Head of Equity, ING Investment Bank, Paris. Patrick VLIEGHE, Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Specialized Master’s in Healthcare Company Management, Head of Development at VECT-HORUS. In charge at Vect-Horus of Intellectual Property management; interactions with subcontractants (academics/CROs) and (bio)pharmaceutical companies, drug discovery process and early-stage preclinical development. Specialized in medicinal chemistry and vectorization (drug targeting and delivery) of drug candidates, he is responsible of the chemical optimisation of vectors and vector-drug conjugates. Work Experience: 14-year experience in pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Held several positions as Research Scientist in Laphal, a Pharmaceutical Laboratory from Zambon Group, Project Manager in Business Intelligence in Flamel Technologies, a Drug Delivery Company and Consultant in Entrepreneurship for the creation of biotech start ups at Grand Luminy Technopole. Pascaline Vaez-Olivera, MD, Ph.D. specialised in neuropharmacology and in drug safety management, Medical Advisor in VECT-HORUS, is involved in the selection of drug candidates to be conjugated to the vectors of VECT-HORUS, toxicity/stability and pharmacokinetic studies and implementation of upcoming preclinical studies.
Work Experience: 5 years research in the Department of Neuroscience, University of Pisa, Italy, several years as Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Manager in Bracco, Milan, Italy and in AstraZeneca in Paris, France.
