November 2009, VECT-HORUS obtains Proof-of-Principle with its lead peptide vector VH0445 in in vitro and in vivo studies on acute pain using VH0445 - opioid peptide conjugates. 

November 2009, VECT-HORUS is laureate in the Innovative Start-up "Créa13"  competition organized by the Department Council (Conseil Général des Bouches du Rhône).

June 2009, VECT-HORUS is a laureate of the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) BiotecS 2009 call for proposals. The VECtoBrain project coordinated by VECT-HORUS (Dr. Patrick Vlieghe) will receive over €1 million and will involve research partners from the CNRS (UMR 6184, Dr. Michel Khrestchatisky), INSERM (U705, Pr. Jean-Michel Scherrmann) and CEA (SIMOPRO, Dr. Vincent Dive). Project title: Peptide vector-based drug targeting to the central nervous system. This project also received support (label) from the EUROBIOMED Biocluster.

June 2009, VECT-HORUS has completed a second round of venture capital funding from private shareholders. The financing will allow the company to grow its operations, service offerings, technology platform and brand. 

September 2008, VECT-HORUS is a partner of the TIMPAD research project that will receive financial support from the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR, Maladies Neurologiques et Maladies Psychiatriques, MNP call). Project title: Functional interactions between the TIMP/MMP system and LRP-1 in Alzheimer's disease: identification of novel therapeutic targets. This project also received support (label) from the Pôle de Compétitivité ORPHEME.

May 2008, VECT-HORUS initiates a collaboration with the IBMM in Montpellier for the chemical optimisation of its lead vectors.

May 2008, MEDUL is among the 4 projects supported by the Pôle de compétitivité ORPHEME with financing from the Fonds Unique Interministériel (FUI) and the Délégation Générale aux Entreprises (DGE).

VECT-HORUS is a partner of PHARMAXON (Marseilles) in the MEDUL project for the development of new strategies to treat spinal cord lesions.

December 2005, VECT-HORUS is created as a spin off from the CNRS laboratory (UMR 6184) directed by Michel Khrestchatisky in Marseilles, France.
